Steadfast Family Appreciation Break

Purpose

Why are we doing this? Great question! We’re a family that loves baseball, loves baseball cards but most importantly we have a strong set of values that are rooted in our faith and love for Jesus Christ. Something that we’ve made a core part of our family is to be intentional about showing gratitude and finding opportunities to give back to our friends, family, community and beyond. We started Steadfast Breaks in August 2022 and we’ve been able to share our love for baseball, baseball cards and life in general with the hundreds of different eBay users that have bought into our breaks the past several years. We are hosting our annual Steadfast Family Appreciation Break as a way to say THANK YOU to each and everyone one of you for your support in our first year as a family of breakers!

How does this work?

For every team and/or player you’ve won in any of our breaks from the current calendar year, you will earn 1 raffle ticket. The more teams/players you’ve won during this period, the more raffle tickets you’ll earn and the better the chances to win. At the start of the break we will be randomizing all 29 team spots (minus the Angels because we are huge Angels fans). How this will work is we will use Random.org to randomize all eBay usernames. Your name will appear one or more times according to how many raffle tickets you have. For example, if you have 5 raffle tickets, your name will appear 5 times in the randomizer. We will randomize the amount of times based on a dice roll. We will use one dice tonight and multiple whatever is rolled in the live break by 3. So for example if we roll a 5 on the live break, we will randomize the list a total of 15 times (5×3=15).

The winners will be identified in a draft style. The Top 29 names will be guaranteed a team spot. We will use your team preferences to draft/select your team based on the available teams in the draft. The top name will get their top choice. We will always start at the top of the list and select your top team based on availability.

There is a 2 team max rule. Each individual can only win a max of 2 teams. This ensures that teams are spread out more. But if your name gets drawn a third time in the draft, you will get a $5 break credit. If your name gets drawn multiple times past two, the max you can earn in break credit is $15.
